What can the songs of legendary singer-songwriter Dolly Parton teach us about writing, craft, and perspectives in poetry? In this in-person workshop, Let Me Say This: A Dolly Parton Poetry Anthology editor Dustin Brookshire will guide participants through exploring the discography and cultural impact of Dolly Parton.

Dustin Brookshire is the author of five chapbooks and the forthcoming debut full-length poetry collection, For All of Us Faggots. He is the co-editor of Let Me Say This: A Dolly Parton Poetry Anthology (Madville Publishing, 2023), which received the Nautilus silver medal and was named to the “Books All Georgians Should Read” list by the Georgia Center for the Book.
