Students will join with Poetry Gauntlet coordinator Sean Corbin to discuss and critique their individual work in a group setting. Each student will have the opportunity to share a poem each week. Please note that this is an opportunity for critique, not performance, and that we will be discussing work in a critical way with the intention of strengthening all of our writing processes.

Sean Corbin is the Poetry Gauntlet coordinator for the Carnegie Center and has taught with Carnegie for at least seven years. He is one-half of the Milestone Art Collective with his wife, Amanda Kelley Corbin.

This class is suitable for all levels.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

The Carnegie Center reserves the right to cancel a class if minimum enrollment is not met. It is best to register early to help our instructors prepare and to ensure the class does not get cancelled. We evaluate registration numbers 62 business days before a class starts to decide whether we can hold the class. Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment will be cancelled six–two business days prior to the first class meeting. All participants will be notified by email and will receive full refunds
