Typography is the art and technique of arranging type to make written language legible, readable and appealing when displayed. The arrangement of type involves selecting typefaces, point size, line length, line-spacing (leading), letter-spacing (tracking), and adjusting the space within letters pairs (kerning).
Writing Mentor Service
The one-on-one, pay-as-you-go, mentoring service is scheduled one hour at a time. Mentoring sessions may involve brainstorming, problem-solving, and informal discussions about chunks of a work-in-progress. Writers have the option to schedule more meetings, if desired, at the end of each meeting. Payment is required in advance of each meeting with the mentor.
Manuscript Review Service
Manuscript Reviews provide content-focused, big-picture feedback on an entire manuscript (not copy editing). Feedback is sent via email through the Executive Director and is provided as a summary and comments written directly on the manuscript. The turnaround for this service is usually less than a month. Manuscripts must be submitted electronically as Word documents (double-spaced, 12-point standard font). Payment is required in advance of the Manuscript Review.
Ghostwriting Services
Ghostwriting Servicesare perfect for clients who have a story or article idea but don’t have the time, desire, or ability to write it. Ghostwriting services provides work-for-hire services by a professional writer. A ghostwriter, based on client input, researches, outlines, and writes the manuscript. The client retains the copyright and is able to market the book for publication.
