You already have the tools to learn how to tell visual stories in your pocket. This class will cover the technical and artistic fundamentals of photography and how to apply those skills to storytelling.
Requirements: A smartphone with a camera and the ability to install free apps.
Logan Lay has over 30 years of experience in multiple photography genres, including: journalism, narrative/storytelling, portraiture, architectural, artistic, experimental and product photography. He is also a published writer (journalism, poetry and short fiction) and currently works as the primary photographer and videographer for the Carnegie Center.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
The Carnegie Center reserves the right to cancel a class if minimum enrollment is not met. It is best to register early to help our instructors prepare and to ensure the class does not get cancelled. We evaluate registration numbers 6–2 business days before a class starts to decide whether we can hold the class. Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment will be cancelled six–two business days prior to the first class meeting. All participants will be notified by email and will receive full refunds.
