Through discussion of a few contemporary short stories, plus craft talk and in-class writing exercises, this course will guide writers from the initial idea to a completed short story draft. Bring your story in progress or just a glimmer of inspiration to work on (and finish!) over nine weeks.

Amanda Corbin is a local writer with a background in journalism who holds creative writing degrees from Morehead State and the University of Kentucky.
