German language and culture is a course designed for beginners and beginners with some prior knowledge who are looking to develop a strong foundation in the German language and gain insights on German culture.

Jazz Cole has been a German teacher at the Carnegie Center for over a year and a private tutor for nearly 5 years and was an au pair in Germany. Jazz is an independent researcher for psycholinguistics and developing a pedagogy for effective language learning methods.

This class is suitable for beginners ages 16 and up.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

The Carnegie Center reserves the right to cancel a class if minimum enrollment is not met. It is best to register early to help our instructors prepare and to ensure the class does not get cancelled. We evaluate registration numbers 6–2 business days before a class starts to decide whether we can hold the class. Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment will be cancelled six to two business days prior to the first class meeting. All participants will be notified by email and will receive full refunds.
