Join us for a virtual talk with guest speaker Scott Colby. He will speak about persuasive writing, using some opinion pieces and short memoirs as a teaching tool. This will benefit those writing any form of persuasive writing, including books and articles. His talk also covers writing persuasive pieces as “advocacy journalism” aimed at effecting societal, political or other change. His analysis and advice will be useful for writers seeking publication and as well as those who are writing for their own pleasure (journaling, family histories, etc.).

Note: This webinar is free for those enrolled in the class Persuasive Nonfiction: Do You See What I See? with Darlene Ricker.
