Students will gather for one session focused solely on poetry generation. Sean Corbin, Poetry Gauntlet coordinator, will attempt to overwhelm you with writing prompts in order to challenge everyone to write as many poems in one sitting as possible. Please note: this is 100% generative, with no time given to critique or revision, and you will be expected to be on time and ready to begin writing immediately.

This class is suitable for beginner and intermediate students.

Sean Corbin is the Poetry Gauntlet coordinator for the Carnegie Center and has taught with Carnegie for at least seven years. He is one-half of the Milestone Art Collective with his wife, Amanda Kelley Corbin.
