Carefully facilitated, the Poetry From Art Workshop includes collage, journaling, and writing poetry directly from the collaged art. Each workshop begins with a brief yogic/science-based, calming, nervous system breathing technique. Combined, these unique therapeutic arts methods are grounding, fun, and surprising in meaningful ways. The Poetry From Art process gives voice to aspects of self that are ready to be explored in exciting new ways on the page. Within the supportive women’s circle, this workshop empowers participants to move forward with vital self-awareness and allyship for peers—especially treasured as women of Kentucky.
What to bring: Your heart for fun & self-discovery. Your heart for community.
Registration and all take-home supplies are provided free of charge.
