Thinking about self-publishing your book and don’t know where to start? This class will help you determine whether self-publishing is the right route for you, what is the best route to take when self-publishing your book, what the steps are involved in self-publishing your book and how to work through the process getting your book from manuscript to published works.

This class is suitable for beginning and intermediate levels.

Liz Carey is a freelance writer and author who has self-published two books, and is working on publishing several more. A freelance writer, Carey provides content for local and national publications, as well as ghostwrites biographies for clients and mentors students at the Carnegie Center.

Bill Carman has taught this course and others for the Carnegie Center. He also teaches fly fishing seminars and Community Education classes as an adjunct instructor at the University of Kentucky. He has published dozens of stories since his first publication in 1976. His latest book, Fishing with Daniel Boone: Fly Fishing the Streams of an American Hero was released this past spring.
