Learn writing techniques, hone your craft, and get words on the page for your work-in-progress by joining this lively discussion group focusing on a writing craft book. Classes include discussion of book content, prompts for implementing the book’s techniques, and peer sharing/feedback. Participants will need to buy a copy of their book. This session’s book is: The Emotional Craft of Fiction: How to Write the Story Beneath the Surface by Donald Maass.

This class is suitable for writers of all levels. Marcia Thornton Jones is the author/co-author of more than 138 traditionally published books for kids including the best-selling series, The Adventures of the Bailey School Kids.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
The Carnegie Center reserves the right to cancel a class if minimum enrollment is not met. It is best to register early to help our instructors prepare and to ensure the class does not get cancelled. We evaluate registration numbers 62 business days before a class starts to decide whether we can hold the class. Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment will be cancelled six–two business days prior to the first class meeting. All participants will be notified by email and will receive full refunds.
