ONLINE: Second Saturday of each month, May through October

This once-a-month workshop includes strategies for completing a novel draft including writing prompts, peer sharing, novel structure options, specific writing techniques, and daily activities/readings for use between the monthly class meetings. Participants are encouraged to start the class with a novel idea in mind. All genres welcome. Enrolled students also receive an invitation to join Marcia in additional kids’ book writing opportunities for free.

Marcia Thornton Jones is the author/co-author of more than 135 traditionally published books for kids including the best-selling series, The Adventures of the Bailey School Kids.

This class is suitable for all levels.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

The Carnegie Center reserves the right to cancel a class if minimum enrollment is not met. It is best to register early to help our instructors prepare and to ensure the class does not get cancelled. We evaluate registration numbers 62 business days before a class starts to decide whether we can hold the class. Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment will be cancelled six–two business days prior to the first class meeting. All participants will be notified by email and will receive full refunds
