Spanish Level 2 builds upon the foundation established in Spanish Level 1. This course aims to reinforce and refine all grammatical structures to facilitate accurate communication in Spanish. Furthermore, new vocabulary, functional language, and pronunciation will be introduced. The course will also focus on enhancing reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Supplementary handouts and additional materials will be provided as needed.
Required Book: Spanish Now! Level 1 Eighth/Ninth Edition (Publisher: Barron’s) by Ruth Silverstein. Please purchase your own copy of the text.

Carmen Butera holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal in Lima, Peru. She teaches Spanish with experience with all levels, including beginners, intermediate, advanced, executives, and travelers.
Cancellation Policy:
The Carnegie Center reserves the right to cancel a class if minimum enrollment is not met. It is best to register early to help our instructors prepare and to ensure the class does not get cancelled. We evaluate registration numbers 6–2 business days before a class starts to decide whether we can hold the class. Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment will be cancelled 6 –2 business days prior to the first class meeting. All participants will be notified by email and will receive full refunds.
