Loss can take many forms — the death of a loved one, the loss of a job or career, retirement and the
fading of a familiar role, a health crisis, or a rupture in belonging. Though they arrive in different ways
and carry different shades of grief, they share a common thread: each represents a disruption in your
life story.

Loss cannot be erased. It becomes part of your story.

What can change is how that disruption lives within you. Rather than resisting or minimizing it, we can
learn to gently integrate those moments into your life narrative — allowing them to take their place
within your unique life experience and, over time, cultivate strength, resilience, and steadiness.
This four-part workshop offers a thoughtful and structured space to bear witness to your experience of
loss and disruption. Through guided reflection, simple writing prompts, and shared storytelling, we will
explore how putting words to what you have lived can gently integrate disruption into your life story —
restoring steadiness and a renewed sense of aliveness. Not a denial of sorrow, but the kind of aliveness
that makes room for grief and joy, fear and courage, and honors the privilege of life.

No writing experience is necessary — only a willingness to reflect and speak honestly from your own
story.

A Special Note:
This class series is a structured space for bearing witness and reflecting on your lived stories. It is not
intended to replace therapy or professional counseling. If you are experiencing trauma or severe
emotional distress, please seek out support from a licensed therapist.

Takeaways from the workshop: Through reflection, writing, and story sharing, you will understand …
– That Loss is a disruption in your life story
– That Loss can never be erased
– That writing and witnessing our stories integrate steadiness and renewed aliveness into your life story
