Ready to transform your ideas into a complete full-length play? In this welcoming Zoom workshop, playwrights of all experience levels will connect with other writers and master the fundamentals of writing for the theatre. This workshop centers around generating material, taking creative risks, and bringing in new pages each week. At each session, participants will hear their own plays-in-progress read aloud, offer and receive constructive feedback, and leave with the tools to finish the first draft of their new play.
This class is suitable for writers of all levels, ages 16+.
Katie Kirk is a playwright and screenwriter with an MFA from Carnegie Mellon University whose work has been published by Samuel French and recognized by Theater Masters and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, among others.
