Martha Crumbie

Martha Crumbie graduated from The University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Social Work. She earned her master’s degree in Special Education (K-12) and has been teaching for over 23 years. Martha loves helping her students become better and stronger in math and reading. She is married with two children, and in her spare time, she enjoys working with youth. She is excited to continue teaching students at the Carnegie Center.

GRADES K-2: This is a fun, hands-on, and interactive class. Students will play games and learn strategies that will help with their reading skills including vocabulary development, alphabet knowledge, letter-sound correlation, concepts of print, listening comprehension, and comprehension. Funded by the Blue Grass Community Foundation.
