Your Hero’s Journey – Summer 2021

This course takes you on a deep dive into Joseph Campbell’s world-famous monomyth, the universal story structure prevalent in everything from ancient mythology to today’s popular books, movies and media. We explore the application and symbolism of all of Campbell’s defined 17 steps and explain through lectures, conversation, and exercises, how this structure can help you as a writer create relevant characters and emotionally compelling plots. For all levels.
