Young Writers Society – Summer 2020

Come hone your writing skills and learn some literary tricks of the trade. We will discuss such things as story structure, theme, and other basic literary devices. We will read short stories by notorious authors and spend time writing each class. Our ultimate goal will be working together to build a portfolio and developing strategies for competing against writer’s block. Matthew L. Williams is a Lexington native and fiction writer. He received his B.S. in English Literature & Master’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Kentucky. Grades 6-8.
