Writing Workshop Basics (Prerecorded) – Spring 2023
Workshop can be intimidating for any writer—whether it’s your first experience or your hundredth. In this seminar, we’ll cover all the basics to help you feel confident and well-prepared. We’ll discuss what to expect from the workshop, how to write a helpful feedback letter, how to make the most of your workshop, how to handle the critique that you’ll receive on your work, and more.
Ashley Blooms is the author of two novels, Every Bone a Prayer and Where I Can’t Follow. She has been workshopping for over a decade.

Cancellation Policy:
The Carnegie Center reserves the right to cancel a class if minimum enrollment is not met. It is best to register early to help our instructors prepare and to ensure the class does not get cancelled. We evaluate registration numbers between 6 and 2 business days before a class starts to decide whether we can hold the class. Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment may be cancelled a minimum of two business days prior to the first class meeting. All participants will be notified by email and will receive full refunds.
