Writing Through Trauma- Summer 2022

This class will cover trauma and how as writers we transpose our experiences onto paper. The vulnerability we face in doing so may hinder our writing process and emotional wellbeing. We will dive into the trauma writing process, post trauma processing, apprehensions with publishing lived personal trauma, and suggestions on healthy ways to write through trauma.

Amelia Zachry is the author of Enough: A Memoir of Mistakes, Mania, and Motherhood and blogs regularly on ameliazachry.com on topics of parenting, immigration, mental health and surviving sexual assault.

This class is suitable for all levels.
