Writing for Healing—For Mothers of the Homeless, Addicted, & Estranged – Spring 2023
As Mothers of these adult children, our numbers are growing. Our stories are unique, painful, and never-ending. This is not a support group or therapy. This course is not about our children, how they got to where they are, or why. It is about us, the Mothers. Emphasis will be placed on our stories—how we have handled the situation and taken care of ourselves. We will not complete a memoir in this short course. We will complete a few pieces and develop a strategy moving forward to continue to process—and hopefully heal.
