Writing a Novel Step by Step – Fall 2024
With a combination of instruction and take-home assignments, this no-nonsense weekly class will give writers what they need to get started and go write their novel. Learn prewriting strategies, what you need to know about scene writing, character development, effective dialogue, plotting and more.
If you plan to Zoom in instead of attending in person at the Carnegie Center, that option is available. Please contact us at info@carnegiecenterlex.org to let us know if this is your plan so that we can choose a suitable classroom space.
Amanda Corbin is a local writer and mother with a background in journalism who holds creative writing degrees from Morehead State and the University of Kentucky.
This class is suitable for all levels.
