Writers Block Party: Writing Exercises to Get Unstuck – Winter 2022

Bring a pencil and paper, and we’ll try some exercises to get the words flowing: a simple algorithm to generate poetic metaphors and similes, writing from images, and a guided meditation for writers. Two of the exercises are recyclable, meaning you can add them to your writing practice and use them again and again. We’ll spend most of our time in this session writing, not sharing our writing. At the end, you’ll have the option to help other writers by sharing about your personal strategies for moving past writer’s block. For all levels.
