What Comes Next: Poetry Revision Workshop – Fall 2024

This class will be a mix of weekly workshop and poetry generation exercises, with the goal of learning techniques for revision and expanding on poetic ideas for larger poetry projects. This is a class dedicated to critique and communication, so come to class ready to entertain and offer suggestions. Each student will have one poem workshopped per week, and receive weekly revision/generation exercises.

Sean L. Corbin has taught this course for the Carnegie Center for several years, and runs the Poetry Gauntlet.

This class is suitable for writers of all levels.
