Spelling Bee Prep for Families – Fall 2023

GRADES 3-8 AND THEIR GROWN-UPS: Are you interested in spelling bee competitions? Do you love to spell and learn the meaning of new words? This is a workshop for students who are interested in participating in their school’s spelling bee, as well as their parents/guardians. We will learn words from other languages, reference spelling bee movies and books, play games, and host a mock spelling bee.

Elise Mandel holds a master’s degree in education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She teaches classes and works with private students in many subjects.
