Show or Tell? How to Make a Scene – Summer 2020

This cross-genre class will address the importance of crafting narrative through scenes. Through in-class writing exercises and discussion of the work of established writers, we will explore that thorniest of writers’ quandaries: When (and how much) do I Show, and When (and how much) do I Tell? d by Sarah Combs, author of the YA novels Breakfast Served Anytime and The Light Fantastic, both published by Candlewick Press. For all levels.
