Literacy for Little Ones – Fall 2024

BIRTH TO 3-YEAR-OLDS & THEIR GROWN-UPS: Join us for a story and playtime that uses seasonally-themed books and activities to promote the development of early language skills. We will also provide strategies and share ideas to enable parents to foster a love of reading, writing, speaking, and all things literacy. A free book is included for the first 10 registered families in attendance! Funded by the PNC Foundation.

Diane Mason is a speech language pathologist who loves to read stories! She always aspires to create a fun, casual, interactive learning environment to spark a little one’s creativity, curiosity, and stimulate their imagination, all the while building important language, communication, social, and cognitive skills. She also strives to make Storytime a special time to encourage each parent and child to connect and feel a sense of community, support, and friendship.

Cancellation Policy:

The Carnegie Center reserves the right to cancel a class if minimum enrollment is not met. It is best to register early to help our instructors prepare and to ensure the class does not get cancelled. We evaluate registration numbers 62 business days before a class starts to decide whether we can hold the class. Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment will be cancelled six–two business days prior to the first class meeting. All participants will be notified by email and will receive full refunds.
