Ghost Story Writing – Fall 2023

Ghosts reflect to us both the uncanny and the all too familiar. Their terrifying power can be used to hurt or to heal in narrative. Join horror author Elizabeth Kilcoyne in exploring the spirit realm through writing, and visit it on October 27 with Marley Knockers Paranormal!

Elizabeth Kilcoyne is a YA Horror author from Lexington. Her novel, Wake the Bones, was a finalist for the William C. Morris Award.

This class is suitable for all levels. The class is open to students ages 16+.

Students registered in this class can purchase a discounted ticket to MK Paranormal’s event at the Carnegie Center on Friday, October 27. Limit one ticket per student.

MK PARANORMAL EVENT DESCRIPTION: Join MK Paranormal and the staff of the Carnegie Center as they investigate the historic Carnegie Center on Friday, Oct 27, 8:00PM 12:00AM. Construction on this building started in 1902 and was opened in 1905. This building is one of 2,509 Carnegie Libraries built between 1883 and 1929 with money donated from Andrew Carnegie.
