Create Your Own Fantasy or Science Fiction Stories – Fall 2022

GRADES 5–7: From Harry Potter to The BFG, from Percy Jackson to The Martian Chronicles, and many more–we will read excerpts from various fantasy and science fiction books and graphic novels to learn how to create amazing worlds and heroic characters. We will discuss how these stories fit the model of Joseph Campbell’s “Hero’s Journey” and create our own stories.
