Come read and enjoy in-depth, thought-provoking discussion of the poetry of Louise Glück. A Nobel Prize winner, Glück died in 2023, leaving behind an expansive body of work that begs to be felt, to be considered and reconsidered, long after her passing. Take a journey through four of Glück’s most celebrated poetry collections: The House on Marshland, The Wild Iris, Meadowlands, and A Village Life. Supplemental readings will include Glück’s musings on life and artistic craft. No background in writing is required, only a eagerness to read and excitement for conversation of contemporary poetry.
This class is suitable for all levels.
