This is 10 week course for students wanting to learn the fundamentals of the German language and explore cultural competency. The first half of the course will focus on how the German language works so students can start putting sentences together and the second half will focus on application to prepare students for encounters with native speakers and what to say when expressing what you don’t know how to say. This class is suitable for beginners ages 16 and up.
Jazz Cole is a multilingual speaking 10 languages and an independent researcher in psycholinguistics and language learning techniques, and was an au pair in Germany back in 2021.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
The Carnegie Center reserves the right to cancel a class if minimum enrollment is not met. It is best to register early to help our instructors prepare and to ensure the class does not get cancelled. We evaluate registration numbers 6–2 business days before a class starts to decide whether we can hold the class. Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment will be cancelled six–two business days prior to the first class meeting. All participants will be notified by email and will receive full refunds.
