This class offers guidance in moving past the thoughts, emotions, and beliefs that stand in the way of writing or other creative work. We’ll do this with the help of the Enneagram, a system based in ancient wisdom, which describes nine different types of people and the lenses through which they view the world. You’ll learn about the Enneagram, receive help in determining your type, and engage in writing exercises and practices designed to address the strengths and challenges of your type and connect you to the creative work calling to you. Susan Christerson Brown, whose essays have appeared in various journals and anthologies, is a certified Ennegram Professional and a mentor in the Carnegie Center Author Academy.
