Martha Crumbie

My name is Martha Crumbie. I graduated from The University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Social Work.  I earned my master’s degree in Special Education (K-12). I have been teaching over 23 years. Teaching brings me such joy each and every day. I adore watching students as they improve their reading and math skills. I love helping my students become better and stronger in math and reading. I am married with two children. In my spare time I enjoy working with youth. I am excited to continue teaching students at the Carnegie Center.

In this fun and hands-on class, we’ll work on reading strategies and comprehension techniques. Students will play games that help to boost their reading skills and engage in activities that demonstrate their reading comprehension. Led by Martha Crumbie, who has her masters degree in K-12 special education and has over 24 years of teaching experience. Funded by the Blue Grass Community Foundation.
