Katherine Greene-Owens

Katherine Greene-Owens is a Lexington native and graduate of Transylvania University with a B.A. in English.  She currently serves as the Enrollment Coordinator at Redwood Cooperative School, a local non-profit school dedicated to helping children learn through play, discovery and experience.  Katherine has logged countless hours working in the classrooms of cooperative schools with students ages 2-8 years and  she is passionate about getting parents and guardians involved in their child’s education.  Katherine also enjoys working on a variety of web design projects for local artists, authors and non-profit organizations to help them develop and polish their online presence.

    Toddler Book Club meets on Saturdays, January 27, February 17, March 24, April 21, & May 5. Please register for each session you plan to attend.

    *The first 15 pre-registered families in attendance each session will each bring home a free copy of the book each month. Due to the popularity of the class, you must print your email confirmation – or be prepared to open it on your mobile device – and show it in exchange for your book.

Join us for story time, parent-assisted activities, and snacks designed to encourage early excitement for reading through hands-on activities for parent and child. This laid-back atmosphere is friendly to busy toddlers and preschoolers and is a great first introduction to a story-time setting. Funded by PNC Foundation.
