Guipsy Lopez

Guipsy Lopez was born in Margarita, Venezuela. She graduated from pharmacy school in 1999, worked in a scientific laboratory for 10 years, and served as an instructor in several science programs for children and adults. She moved to Lexington, Kentucky with her family in 2012, was enrolled in Midway University in 2013 and got her Bachelor of Science in Biology in May 2017. While at Midway, she joined Tri-Beta and the Path Mentoring program, which focused on helping middle and high school girls to continue to higher education. Guipsy is currently working on the program “A Friendly Embrace” with the Commission for Children with Special Health Care Needs. She is happy to start teaching Spanish for Kids.
