Carole Johnston

Carole Johnston taught creative writing in the SCAPA program at Lafayette High School for 18 years. Before that she was a school library media specialist for grades K-8. Carole has published numerous poems in print and online journals. She has completed her first novel and has published short stories in online journals. Her poetry collection, Journeys: Getting Lost, is available from Finishing Line Press and from Amazon. Carole is available as a private writing tutor.

This class will find adventure everywhere; in school as well as fantasy worlds. Like Percy Jackson in The Lightning Thief, we will discover that we are heroes through reading and writing realistic fiction, fantasy, and poetry.
