My name is Martha Crumbie. I graduated from The University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Social Work. I earned my master’s degree in Special Education (K-12). I have been teaching over 23 years. Teaching brings me such joy each and every day. I adore watching students as they improve their reading and math skills. I love helping my students become better and stronger in math and reading. I am married with two children. In my spare time I enjoy working with youth. I am excited to continue teaching students at the Carnegie Center.

This class will connect kids with black history by engaging them in activities such as reading books, listening to music, watching videos, playing games, and exploring history. There will be plenty of fun ways for kids to learn about the African-American experience. [NEW!]
