Dragons can be symbolic of amazing strength, deep magic, and creativity. This club for girls will encourage self-confidence and self-expression through reading, writing, and poetry. We will read and discuss various books of fiction and poetry that feature strong girls who can take care of themselves. Our protagonists will actually tame dragons, some real and some metaphorical. Girls will write poems and stories to express their own unique and fantastic selves.
