Elise Mandel

Elise Mandel holds a Masters in Education from UMass Amherst, and has many years of teaching experience. She once ran a one-room schoolhouse in New Jersey and taught French, Spanish, and cslligraphy at a Quaker school. She has taught special education and student teachers, and she works with private students in all subjects (except science!). At the Carnegie Center, Elise teaches teach Spanish, Calligraphy, GRE Preparation, Brain Power, youth math, and more!

We will work on several typical ACT questions from each of the ACT subject areas of English, math, reading, and science. Test-taking strategies will be discussed. Homework will be assigned so that you have a guide to optimizing your test preparation efforts. You must register at least one week in advance to guarantee a book on the first day.
