    Girl Power: A Book Club for Girls Who Will Change the World

    With Cierra Spaulding. 6-8 YEAR OLDS & THEIR GROWN-UPS: This is an interactive and engaging story time where girls will listen to an empowering book that will build self-esteem and increase social and emotional confidence! Along with hearing a new story each session, students will enjoy a snack, participate in a related craft activity, and receive a free copy of the featured book. Led by Cierra Spaulding, founder of Masterpiece Creative Group and an educator who has served children across the state in various capacities for over 10 years.

    Dragon Girls (Spring)

    With Carole Johnston. GIRLS IN GRADES 5-6: Dragons can be symbolic of amazing strength, deep magic, and creativity. This club for girls will encourage self-confidence and self-expression through reading, writing, and poetry. We will read and discuss various books of fiction and poetry that feature strong girls who can take care of themselves. Our protagonists will actually tame dragons, some real and some metaphorical.     Playing and Writing Stories (PAWS) (Spring)

Write the World is a hands-on fiction workshop, where you’ll get to flex your storytelling skills in various ways.
