A Letter from the Tutoring Coordinator
It is hard to believe the holidays are already upon us! I hope the semester has gone well for everyone in the Carnegie Center’s Tutoring Program. I enjoyed meeting and chatting with the tutors recently when they came in my office for their holiday treats; however, I am slowly learning names. Please continue to stop by my office to say hello. It truly brightens my day.
Have you noticed the pictures and bulletin board in the stairway and on the door to the Tutoring Room? I am still taking pictures, so please let me know if I need to snap yours. I hope to have every tutoring pair highlighted in their very own picture by next season.
I also want to remind everyone that there will be NO tutoring during the Winter Break (December 17- Jan 2). An important note: Fayette County Schools will resume classes on January 2, but the Carnegie Center will be closed for New Year’s Day. Tutoring will resume on Tuesday, January 3. I hope everyone has a restful and joy-filled holiday, and I look forward to the bustle and excitement of tutoring again on January 3!
Thanks and Happy Holidays!
