Registering Your Student

The Carnegie Center’s Tutoring Program serves students in K-12. Students are expected to meet with their tutor for one hour per week from September through May (after-school tutoring program) or June through July (summer tutoring program).

Typically, we tutor in reading, writing and math. We may be able to offer tutoring in other subjects, but because we rely on volunteer tutors, we may not have expertise in all subjects.
All families are welcome, regardless of income level. The one-time registration fee for the September-May period is $50; if the student is on free or reduced lunch in his/her school, the one-time registration fee is $5. After the registration fee is paid, all tutoring sessions are free.
The one-time registration fee for the June-July period is $10; if the student is on free or reduced lunch in his/her school, the one-time registration fee is $5. After the registration fee is paid, all tutoring sessions are free.

Each year, we offer a limited window of time for registering. To find out when the next registration period is, contact tutoring coordinator Carol Bradford at 859-254-4175 or tutoring@carnegiecenterlex.org.
Our tutoring program fills up quickly each year. Space is limited. We cannot guarantee a spot for your child unless you register him/her during our specified registration periods.

Note to returning students: You must register too! Contact Carol Bradford at 859-254-4175 or tutoring@carnegiecenterlex.org for more details.
