Homegrown Authors

The Carnegie Center, Morris Book Shop and the Lexington Farmers’ Market are partnering to create a Homegrown Authors booth, to be staffed by local authors, at the Cheapside Farmers’ Market every Saturday this Summer!

In addition to local food, you are now able to buy local books at the Lexington Farmers’ Market! And, in true market fashion, you will be buying them from the authors. Read the latest from ProgressLex on Homegrown Authors by clicking here.

Here’s our Schedule of Authors for this Summer:

July 9 — Joel DiGirolamo and Abigail Keam
July 16 — Sarah Spradlin and Sheri Wright
July 23 — Kaboom Writing Group
July 30 — Richard Combs and Kenn Minter
Aug. 6 — Cynthia Ellingsen and Sherry Chandler
Aug. 13 — Matthew Haughton and David Kennedy
Aug. 20 — Steve Vest and Ed McClanahan
Aug. 27 — Doris Settles and Steven R. Cope
