Carnegie’s Reading Room at Triangle Park in downtown Lexington
Open: April-October, dawn to dusk
Designed and constructed by Nate Hensley of Hensley Custom Studios, and in partnership with the Triangle Foundation, the Carnegie Reading Room is a custom mobile bookcase opened from dawn to dusk every day to anyone who wants to sit and enjoy a book. Each patron is allowed one free book, per visit.
In addition, we are asking all of our local authors to join Carnegie’s executive director, Neil Chethik (FatherLoss & VoiceMale) and donate a copy of their book to the Reading Room for Lexingtonians and visitors alike to enjoy!
