Sherry Chandler

Sherry Chandler has published four collections of poetry, most recently The Woodcarver’s Wife. She has an MA in English literature from the University of Kentucky. Her work has received several awards, including Legacies, the Betty Gabehart, the Kudzu magazine prize, the Joy Bale Boone, and the Editor’s Choice Award from Waypoints. She has been nominated for Best of the Net and three times for a Pushcart Prize. She has received financial support from the Kentucky Arts Council and the Kentucky Foundation for Women. She lives on a small farm in Bourbon County with her husband, the woodcarver TR Williams.

Participants in this class will explore these tools with emphasis on their own writing. Sherry Chandler is the author of three full-length poetry collections and two chapbooks. [ALL LEVELS]
