With Josh Douglas.
In the 2018 midterm election, voter turnout was at about 50%. Turnout in this fall’s Kentucky gubernatorial election will probably be even lower. When half of the electorate doesn’t show up, we have a major problem with our democracy. What can we do to fix this? Professor Josh Douglas of the University of Kentucky College of Law, will discuss his new book, Vote for US: How to Take Back Our Elections and Change the Future of Voting. He will describe the best practices used by democracy champions who are working in communities all over the country to improve the election process and bring more voters into the system.
